Allison Brooks Janney was born in America. Her work is recognized for its performances on the stage and on screen She has been awarded a variety of awards, including her own Academy Award a British Academy Film Award and a Golden Globe Award and seven Primetime Emmy Awards, in addition to being nominated for two Tony Awards. Allison Janney, who spent nearly 20 years performing in regional theatres, became popular for her portrayal of White House Press Secretary C.J. Gregg on the well-known and acclaimed television drama The West Wing (NBC 1999-2006). Allison Janney was always a late bloomer. The time she got her Ohio driving license one year later, at age 17. The first time she met a man was until she was enrolled in at university. Despite auditioning as early as the age of 23, she has was only on the screen until her 30s. Faris has since left Mom in the year 2020, has decided to be very selective in her role choices. The majority of her appearances have been in animations with the only exception being 2022's The Estate. Faris told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview that it wasn't her conscious decision. Anna Faris had left CBS's popular sitcom Mom prior to the final eighth season. Faris claimed she had left the show to pursue new opportunities. However, now Faris is revealing that it was not an unintentional choice. Janney has worn a hairpiece throughout her time on the show since it began. Producers didn't have to be concerned. Fallon revealed: "I told Fallon that she was wearing her wig from season 1 but that no one was aware of the fact. Now, everyone knows." Janney intends to keep the wig as an object of collection. In the beginning of her series, Janney made anywhere from $125,000 to 250,000 dollars per show. Faris made an estimated $200 per episode in season three and four.
